Bangladesh Railway announced that train ticket during Eid-ul-Fitr will be sold at different stations in Dhaka. The Railway Ministry briefs media on advanced that to prevent excruciatingly long queues, the tickets will be sold at different locations in the capital. Below we have listed train ticket purchasing stations name and area for your convenience.
- Tickets for western destinations of the country will be sold from Kamalapur Railway Station
- Tickets for Chattogram and Noakhali will be sold from Airport Railway Station
- Tickets for Mymensingh and Jamalpur will be sold from Tejgaon Station
- Tickets for Sylhet and Kishoreganj will be sold from OId Rail Bhaban in Fulbaria area.
Advance tickets for inter-city trains for travelling on May 31 and June 1, 2, 3 and 4 would be sold on May 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 respectively. One person can buy four tickets at a time. Meanwhile, eight special trains will run from June 2 till Eid day.
