Cox’s Bazar is a district in the Chattogram Division of Bangladesh. It is located about 150 Kilometer south of Chattogram. It is the tourist capital of Bangladesh which is claimed to be the World’s longest unbroken Sea Beach 120 km long, having no 2nd example. There are miles of golden sands, towering cliffs, surfing waves, rare conch shells, colorful pagodas, Buddhist temples and tribes and mouth-watering sea-food made Cox’s Bazar one of the best tourist destination in the World. The best time to visit the beach is November to early March but also lot of Domestic and International tourist visits the beach due to get off season sale from Cox’s Bazar Hotels and Restaurants.

There is no direct train service from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar. But it is very well-connected by air and road link with the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka and the port city Chittagong. There are high class modern bus/coach services available from Dhaka and Chittagong. Also Cox’s Bazar Domestic Airport declared as International Airport recently. Many domestic and international flights service available to reach Cox’s Bazar.

Inani Beach

Inani beach beach is located 35km south of Cox’s Bazar town and half an hour’s drive from Cox’s Bazar. It is in Ukhia Upazila 18 km long Sea Beach. It has loads of Coral Stones which look black and green, and they are found in summer. Inani Beach is famous for clean water, less crowd and secure. Its place of natural beauty. There are many renowned hotels, resorts and restaurants near to beach where tourists can stay comfortably.

Himchari

Himchari is a unique place of the scenic beauty of green hills and blue waves of the vast sea on south of Cox’s Bazar. The amazing waterfall and Broken Hills of Himchari is a very rare scene to enjoy. It is Declared as National Park on 15 Feb 1980 with comprised of lush tropical rain forest, grasslands and trees.

There are more than 100 species of trees, including Grewia microcos, Dipterocarpus turbinatus, Vitex pedurcularis, and Pterospermum acerifolium. The forest area has some types of important herbs, amongst which Swintonia floribunda, Curculigo recurvata, and Alpinia nigra are most valuable.

Teknaf

Teknaf is an Upazila of Cox’s Bazar and southern-most city of Bangladesh. It is bounded by Ukhia Upazila on the north the Bay of Bengal. If you are looking for ecotourism destinations Teknaf Sea beach will be one of the best choice. Its 80km long definitely you will checkout. Shampan or Cruise service one of the main attraction of the Teknaf Peninsula. You also able to buy tribal handicraft from the local market.
