Kantajew Temple or Kantaji Temple also known as Kantanagar Temple at Kantanagar is a late-medieval Hindu temple in Dinajpur, Bangladesh. It is the most magnificent religious edifices of 18th century. This beautiful temple is dedicated to Krishna and his wife Rukmini. Built by Maharaja Pran Nath, its construction started in 1704 CE and ended in the reign of his son Raja Ramnath in 1722 CE. It is the best example on terracotta architecture in Bangladesh. The temple was built before the devastation caused by the earthquake of 1897 in navaratna style. How to go

There are three ways to reach Kantaji Temple, if you are traveling from Dhaka, first you need to come to Dinajpur district. To come Dhaka to Dinajpur you can travel by various bus company such as Shyamoli Paribahan, Hanif Enterprise etc, also you can travel by train ( Bangladesh Railway). If you are hurry enough, you can fly Dhaka to Sayedpur Domestic Airport by Biman Bangladesh Airlines or US-Bangla Airlines.
