Sajek Valley tour is very much exciting for all kind of tourists and it is one of the most emerging tourist spot in Bangladesh. It is situated among the hills of Kasalong range of mountains in Sajek union in Rangamati District. The valley is 550 meter above sea level. Sajek valley is known as the Queen of Hills & Roof of Rangamati. It came from Sajek River that originates from Karnafuli River.
Sajek valley is well-known for its natural beauty. The valley is bounded by mountains, dense forest, grasslands hilly tracks. Many small rivers flowing through the mountains among which Kachalong and Machalong are famous. On the way to Sajek valley, you have to cross the Mayni range and Mayni river. The road to Sajek has high picks and falls.
The Route towards Sajek Valley from Khagrachari is passing through Dighinala Army Camp. Every tourist is required to take permission from 10 No Baghaihat Police & Army Camp.
Best time to visit Sajek is rainy season, deep clouds and sudden rain makes the valley more attractive. You should visit at the beginning June and till end of September.
How to go to Sajek Valley
First from Dhaka, you have to go to Khagrachari by Shyamoli and Hanif Paribahan, If you want to go to Dighinala directly then you can travel by Shanti Paribahan. BRTC and Saint Martin Paribahan‘s AC buses are also available.
There are three ways you can reach Sajek From Khagrachari such as Chand car, CNG, and motorcycle. The Tourists are mostly reserve a Jeep (local name Chander Gari/car) from Khagrachari city. According to the size of the car, ten to 15 people can sit easily.
