Sakura Paribahan and other transport company has decided to launch bus services from the capital to south-western districts via Padma Bridge. It is a multi-purpose road and railway bridge built over the Padma River in Bangladesh. The bridge was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Bangladesh on June 25, 2022. It will connect Louhjong, Munshiganj with Shariatpur and Madaripur, the southwestern, northern and eastern parts of the country.
